Purpose. Test of electro-hydraulic steering systems (EHPS) under vehicle-comparable conditions and in vehicle-identical installation position.

Foreword. This test procedure describes the framework for a functional and durability test of an electro-hydraulic steering system for LHD/RHD. The selection of the loading described therein is based upon vehicle measurements or collectives and the customer data acquisition Step 2, as well the empirically determined data for the test period compression.

Applicability. Mechanical-hydraulic steering gear with side drive and adapted electrically driven servo pump for pressurization of the hydraulic steering boost.
