In this technical report exemplary area specifications are cited for storage tanks and the system parts connected.
NOTE When dealing with flammable liquids with a flash point ≤ 55 °C, the formation of an explosive atmosphere cannot be safely prevented. Explosive areas shall therefore be specified in and around system parts containing flammable liquids with a flash point ≤ 55 °C and these shall be classified into zones.
