Network Operations employees who are responsible for the implementation and delivery of maintenance, refurbishment, renewal and enhancement activities.
Purpose
To mandate the arrangements and set out the framework of self-assurance in the Network Operations function for non-operations staff.
Self assurance is an assurance activity under NR/SP/ASR/036 Network Rail Assurance Framework for line managers to formally check their compliance with company processes and standards to allow them to identify and address any deficienciencies.
NOTE: It is also a requirement in the Devolution Handbook and forms part of the framework of assurance under the Business Critical Rules programme.
