scope:

Use/Relationship:

a. To provide Engineering Documentation Product Drawings, Sanitized, to support prototype and limited production of equipment and systems. The drawings shall be used to support the maintenance, repair, spare procurement, training, testing, and configuration baseline of the equipment and system acquired.

b. For purposes of this DID, "modified" is defined as an overall design, excluding mechanical fabrication drawings and mounting hardware (i.e., nuts and bolts).

c. For purposes of this DID, "sanitized" is defined as the removal of any ties to the government from the submitted deliverable documentation package.

d. This DID contains guidance for format and content preparation instructions of the Engineering Documentation Product Drawings resulting from the work task described in the contract SOW.

e. It is not intended that the recommendations contained herein should be applied to every program. This DID should be tailored to the minimum data requirements of the applicable contract.

f. This DID supersedes DI-DRPR-81679.
