Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen an die werkseigene Produktionskontrolle, der Herstellbetriebe von werkmäßig bzw. vorwiegend werkmäßig hergestellten Behältern (Tanks) mit einem zulässigen Betriebsüberdruck von max. 0,5 bar fest.

Diese Norm gilt nicht für die Herstellung von Behältern (Tanks) sowie für Anbauteile wie z. B. Leitern, Bühnen, für die ein Konformitätsnachweisverfahren gefordert wird.
