This Standard specifies the general test method of compounding ingredients for rubber (hereafter referred to as "rubber compounding ingredients") such as vulcanizing agents, accelerators and antidegradants. This Standard is not applied to peroxide-based vulcanizing agents.

NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

ISO 28641: 2010 Rubber compounding ingredients-Organic chemicalsGeneral test methods (MOD)

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEC Guide 21-1.
