Use/Relationship: The Logistics Composite Model Analysis Toolkit (LCOM ATK) Study describes a full weapon system in terms of component reliabilities, maintenance tasks, manpower, spare parts, support equipment, facilities, and flying schedule. When this study is used in a Monte-Carlo simulation, it provides a means to run trade studies on manpower, sparing, or component reliabilities, and to determine their impact on fleet availability and ability to meet sortie requirements. The LCOM ATK is developed and managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) engineering home office (AFLCMC/EZJS) at Wright- Patterson AFB.

a. The purpose of this Data Item Description (DID) is to develop and deliver an LCOM ATK model study.

b. This DID contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.

c. This DID is used in conjunction with DI-PSSS-82055, Logistics Composite Model Analysis Toolkit (LCOM ATK) Study Input Plan. (Copies of this document are available online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil.)
