NRCA's 2009 and 2012 International Energy Conservation Code Package

active, Most Current
Organization: NRCA
Status: active
scope:

This package includes three publications:

  • NRCA's Guidelines for Complying with Energy Code Requirement for Roof Assemblies International Energy Conservation Code, 2009 and 2012 Editions
  • 2009 International Energy Conservation Code and ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2007-Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings
  • 2012 International Energy Conservation code and ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2010-Energy Standard for Buildings Except low-Rise Residential Buildings

NRCA's Guidelines for Complying with Energy Code Requirement for Roof Assemblies International Energy Conservation Code, 2009 and 2012 editions provide step-by-step instructions for complying with the requirements of the International Energy Conservation Code's (IECC's) 2009 and 2012 editions. New energy codes dictate minimum thermal insulation requirements for roof assemblies, and recent changes to these codes may result in the need for significantly more insulation than you may be accustomed to providing.

The 2009 International Energy Conservation Code and ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.0-2007-Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings combines these two documents and are recognized in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) as the benchmarks for the energy efficiency of residential and commercial buildings. The dual edition will make it easier to ensure new and renovated buildings are built in compliance with the latest references and local requirements.

The 2012 International Energy Conservation Code and ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2010-Energy Standard for Buildings Except low-Rise Residential Buildings is another positive step in the efforts of the ICC® and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and provides benchmarks for the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code.

The all-inclusive package provides you with the latest and state of the art energy efficiency requirements to ensure you comply with the 2009 and 2012 International Energy Conservation Codes!
