• process owners and users (operations planning, logistics, order control, production planning, production, quality assurance, maintenance, and so on),

• those involved in the selection and implementation process with their particular technical specialities (project managers, as well as internal and external service providers), and

and offers a task-oriented description of MES and their potential uses.It reflects the existing concepts of MESA1), complements and updates them and provides a view which conveys the concerns of European finished goods manufacturers better.
