This Standard specifies requirements for the rating and labelling of products for water efficiency, and, where applicable, specifies minimum water efficiency standards.
NOTE: Registration requirements are defined in the WELS Determination, available at www.waterrating.gov.
This Standard applies to the following products, as detailed in Sections 3 to 10:
(a) Showers.
(b) Tap equipment.
(c) Flow controllers.
(d) Lavatory equipment.
(e) Urinal equipment.
(f) Dishwashers.
(g) Clothes washing machines.
(h) The dryer function of combination washer/dryers, where they use water to dry a load.
