scope:
Purpose.
To update mission and functions of Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS), per mission promulgated by reference (a). This instruction revises the recent alignment of the Human Performance Center mission under Chief of Naval Personnel (CHNAVPERS) and replaces claimancy with Budget Submitting Office. Mission for the Training and Education organization will remain under reference (b).
