Purpose of This Notice.
This notice provides guidance for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate-holding district offices (CHDO) and principal inspectors (PI) assigned to operators requesting authorization to conduct airplane night vision goggle (NVG) operations under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 135. This authorization will use a new Operations Specification (OpSpec) D094, Airplane Night Vision Goggle Operations (ANVGO) Maintenance Program.
