scope:
Purpose. To establish mandatory data reporting policy to meet the congressional requirement to provide complete, accurate, and timely Navy and Marine Corps operating and support (O&S) costs and related metrics for major weapon systems per reference (a) .
Applicability. This instruction applies to DON organizations, encompassing all U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps installations, commands, activities, field offices, and other organizational entities that record O&S costs and associated metrics.
