This SIN applies to all level crossings fitted with Godwin Warren Engineering (GWE) Mark I and BR843 (GWE Mark II, Smiths and SPX variants), barrier pedestals which are fitted with BR985 hydraulic barrier packs.
Purpose
The purpose of this Special Inspection Notice (SIN) is to inspect and replace all pedestal trunnion bolts fitted to BR985 hydraulic barrier packs.
