The purpose of the Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) program is to provide free, quality, live, professional entertainment to US Armed Forces personnel and their family members stationed overseas. Priority is given to remote and isolated locations, ships at sea and contingency operations. The goal of the program is to lift the spirits and morale of troops and maintain their readiness and effectiveness while serving in defense of our country. While raising the morale of troops stationed overseas, the AFE program provides entertainers with an appreciation of the hardships troops endure and helps them serve as a vital link between those at home and those protecting our national security.
