This standard covers structural steelwork, including composite structures, in building and civil engineering.
This standard does not cover:
metalwork (see DIN 18360) or
corrosion protection work (see DIN 18364).
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18335 shall take precedence.
