scope:
This standard deals with the working of concrete surfaces and the fitting or installation of cast stone in and at buildings.
This standard does not cover:
- the dry jointing of sett and slab pavements (see DIN 18318),
- the production of concrete elements (see DIN 18331),
- curtain walling comprising slabs with a nominal thickness of up to 30 mm on a secondary frame (see DIN 18351).
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18333 shall take precedence.
