scope:
This standard covers the installation of central heating systems and centralized hot water supply systems. It also deals with the installation of heat distribution systems (heating and cooling systems) in which water or water in combination with other substances are used as energy carriers.
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18380 shall take precedence.
