Diese Kondensatoren sind vorwiegend zur Verwendung in Geräten der Elektronik für die direkte Montage auf Substraten für Hybridschaltungen oder auf Leiterplatten vorgesehen.
Für Kondensatoren für Sonderanwendungen können zusätzliche Anforderungen gelten. Es werden zwei Bauformen behandelt:
- Bauform 1: Kondensatoren, die durch externe Materialien geschützt sind;
- Bauform 2: Kondensatoren, die nicht durch externe Materialien geschützt sind.
