This Standard specifies the manufacturing requirements of Fittings, metal and handles used on containers used in the packaging of supplies for the Services.
The metal fittings for wooden containers used for the Services, including material specifications and information for lifting straps and other ancillary items. This is included in Annex A.
Annex A is for metal fittings including lifting straps for wooden containers that have been designed for a maximum gross package mass of 10,000 kg
This standard also describes five types of handles fitted to containers up to 60 kg gross mass, noted in Annex B.
