Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an ein Koaxialkabel, Leichtbauweise, 50 Ω, Typ KX, zur Verwendung in elektrischen Bordnetzen von Luftfahrzeugen bei Betriebstemperaturen zwischen −55 °C und 200 °C und insbesondere für hohe Frequenzen bis 6 GHz fest. Wenn erforderlich, ist eine Temperatur von −65 °C zulässig, wie durch die Prüfung für den schnellen Temperaturwechsel nachgewiesen wurde.
