scope:
This standard specifies a method of measuring the performance of optical contacts in an optical connection element (including permanent connections) and fibre optic couplers when subjected to tensile stress throughout the operating temperature range. This test shall not be applied to spring loaded elements.
It shall be used together with ISO 2100-100.
