This section of Part of IEC Publication5 98 specifies requirementsf or portable pedestal luminaires,f or use in places such as gardens and for portable luminaires for use in places such as flower beds, for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltage not excedding 1 20 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of Part 1 to which reference is made.
Note: In Canada, CSA TIL B-S8A, Landscape Lighting Systems, specifies the requirements forp ermanentlyc onnected landscape lighting systems employing extra-low-voltage incandescent/amps for outdoor use
