The aerial refueling coupling covered by this specification is intended for use by tanker aircraft for refueling receiver aircraft by means of the probe-drogue method of aerial refueling. The coupling, which is extended on a hose from the tanker, is engaged by the nozzle of the receiver aircraft, thereby allowing the transfer of fuel. The coupling may also be used for defueling the tanker aircraft on the ground with the use of a special item of test equipment. The coupling provides a pressure regulated fuel supply.
