PURPOSE. This Instruction establishes policies, procedures and responsibilities for the coordination of criminal, civil, contractual and administrative remedies stemming from investigations or other information of fraud or corruption related to Coast Guard procurement activities. A strong commitment by Commanding Officers, the Contracting Community and Law Enforcement to form an effective partnership to investigate and pursue all procurement fraud remedies will further the ability of the Coast Guard to perform its missions and meet its obligations to the Service and the communities it serves.
