AIM

The aim of this agreement is to:

a. Protect national environmental resources and comply with national environmental legislation by establishing technical standards and procedures to allow deploying units of one nation to construct, operate, and maintain fixed and mobile jet fuel storage and fuel handling equipment while deployed to another nation.

b. Establish minimum environmental standards for related STANAGs by providing a means to collect and analyze national environmental requirements.
