scope:
The main users of this standard are the supervisory, approval and specialist authorities responsible for immission control. The standard can be applied to all odour complaints regardless of whether the facility is subject to approval or not. The goal is to make the recording and processing odour complaints systematic and more efficient. The standard presents principles and practical examples. A rough distinction is made between the following steps:
a) recording the complaint
b) investigating the causes and other investigations by the authorities
