This European Standard applies to all liquid-applied waterimpermeable products, based on polymer modified cementitiousmortars, dispersions and reaction resin coatings, used beneathceramic tiling, for external tile installations on walls and floorsand in swimming pools. This European Standard gives the terminologyconcerning the products and specifies the test methods and thevalues of performance requirements for liquid-applied waterimpermeable products associated with tile adhesives. This EuropeanStandard specifies the evaluation of conformity and theclassification and designation of liquidapplied water impermeableproducts beneath ceramic tiling. This European Standard does notcontain recommendations for the design and installation of ceramictiles and grouts in combination with water impermeableproducts.
