This standard specifies the composition, property requirementsand dimensional tolerances for copper alloy hollow rod, finallyproduced by drawing or extruding, specifically intended for freemachining purposes. NOTE Hollow products having an outside diametergreater than 80 mm and/or a wall thickness less than 2 mm arespecified in EN 12449. The sampling procedures, the methods of testfor verification of conformity to the requirements of thisstandard, are also specified.
