Gurultu kaynagi tarafindan bir oktav genisligindeki frekansbandlarinda uretilen ses gucu seviyesi (gurultu patlamalari veyagecici gurultu emisyonu olmasi durumunda, ses enerji seviyesi) buolcumler kullanilarak hesaplanir. A-agirlikli ses gucu seviyesiveya ses enerji seviyesi oktav bant seviyeleri kullanilarakhesaplanir.
