Bu standard, 2000 Hz?i asmayan frekanslarda ve 600 V etkin(karelerin ortalamasinin karekoku) degerini asmayan gerilimlerdecalisan, - 65 oC ile 135 oC arasinda calisan, ucak icerisineyerlestirilmis elektrikli sistemlerde kullanilmak uzere, Caprazbagli Etilen Tetra Floro Etilen es polimer (Crosslinked EthyleneTetra Fluoro Ethylene co-polimer- XLETFE) ailesinden, kalaykaplamali bakir iletkenli, UV lazer baski yapilabilir elektriklikablolarin ozelliklerini kapsar. Kilif mevcut oldugu zaman, bukablolar, ilave koruma gerektirmeksizin ucak govdesi icindekullanim icin uygundur. Kiliflar geriye dogru soyuldugunda, damarlailave koruma gerektirebilir. Bu standard ile diger atif yapilandokumanlar arasinda bir uyusmazlik olustugunda, bu standardda yeralan kurallar, oncelige sahiptir.
