This International Standard specifies the gas chromatographic(GC) method for the determination of saturated, olefinic andaromatic hydrocarbons in automotive motor gasoline and ethanol(E85) automotive fuel. Additionally, the benzene content, oxygenatecompounds and the total oxygen content can be determined.
