This pretandard applies to the equipment for charging class I electric road vehicles (EV) at standard a.c. supply voltages per IEC 60038, up to 690 V and d.c. voltage up to 1000 V, and for providing electrical power for any auxiliary services on the vehicle if required, when connected to the supply network.
