The scope of this document is to provide the structure and the content of despatch and receive processes in the supply chain and the requirements for the information exchanged in those processes. The BRS document of the cross industry delivery process allows the selection of one of the specified business processes. It is up to each industry to specify extensions for industry specific business information. The class diagrams of the information exchanged within the despatch and receive processes were developed in such a way that it specifies the cross industry reusable business information entities. Selection of goods to be despatched or picked up, returns, claims and usage/consumption reporting are outside the scope of this BRS. NOTE The processes defined only apply to the collaboration between Customer and Supplier. Internal processes are outside the scope of this BRS.
