This part of ISO 22476 specifies the technical principles formeasuring equipment requirements, the execution and reporting onthe parameters of the investigation drilling process forgeotechnical purposes. It is applicable to top-driven, destructivedrilling methods performed by a fully hydraulically powered drillrig and driving device. It is commonly used with destructivedrilling techniques but can also be used with core drilling. Therecording of the drilling parameters during soil grouting, drillingof nails, anchors or piles are beyond the scope of this part of ISO22476.
