This International Standard specifies a method for determiningthe ability of metallic materials to undergo plastic deformation inbending. This International Standard applies to test pieces takenfrom metallic products, as specified in the relevant productstandard. It is not applicable to certain materials or products,for example tubes in full section or welded joints, for which otherstandards exist.
