This part of ISO/IEC 14143: a)establishes a framework for theconformity evaluation of a Candidate FSM Method against theprovisions of ISO/IEC 14143-1; b)describes a process for conformityevaluation of whether a Candidate FSM Method meets the (type)requirements of ISO/IEC 14143-1 such that it is an actual FSMmethod, i.e. they are of the same type; c)describes therequirements for performing a conformity evaluation in order toensure repeatability of the conformity evaluation process, as wellas consistency of decisions on conformity and the final result;d)aims to ensure that the output from the conformity evaluationprocess is objective, impartial, consistent, repeatable, completeand auditable; e)provides informative guidelines for determiningthe competence of the conformity evaluation teams; f)provides anexample checklist to assist in the conformity evaluation of aCandidate FSM Method; and g)provides an example template for theconformity evaluation report.
