ISO 9211 identifies surface treatments of components andsubstrates excluding ophthalmic optics (spectacles) by theapplication of optical coatings and gives a standard form for theirspecification. It defines the general characteristics and the testand measurement methods whenever necessary, but is not intended todefine the process method.
