The Dimensioning and Tolerancing practices of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers ASME Y14.5M-1994 and Y14.8M-1996 have been adopted for engineering drawings related to castings or forgings.
Other standards referenced in ASME Y14.5M-1994 and Y14.8M-1996 have not been adopted by FAO unless specifically referenced in the Ford Motor Company Engineering CAD & Drafting Standards.
