This European Standard specifies the performance requirementsand the corresponding test methods for all natural stone setts usedfor external paving and road finishes. External paving use includesall pavements typical of road works, such as pedestrian andtrafficked areas, outdoor squares and similar to be used in anoutdoor condition that are subject to the weathering agents, suchas temperature changes, rain, ice, wind, etc. This EuropeanStandard provides also for the evaluation of conformity and formarking of the natural stone setts. This European Standard alsocovers characteristics that are of importance to the trade.
