This procedure applies to all Network Rail staff involved in the management of environmental incidents and should be read in conjunction with the relevant Network Rail Emergency Plans.
PURPOSE
This procedure provides a process for assessing and dealing with environmental incidents and spillages to minimise environmental damage, and deliver a speedy response / clean-up operation.
