This procedure applies to all areas of Network Rail Managed Stations including areas leased to third parties except at:

• St Pancras (Midland Road) Station, where this is covered by the St Pancras International Station arrangements.

• Stations where the Train Operators lead with the development of the plans as the Service Provider to Network Rail Infrastructure Limited. Any alternative arrangements will be documented via Safety Validation or approved Statement of Arrangements.

This procedure applies to all employees and contractors requiring access.

PURPOSE

This procedure provides safe and secure controlled access to areas within stations through identification of areas with specific risks to deliver effective management controls for the purposes of safety, crime prevention and security.
