This general document is a lead for testing the CAN bus for high-speed and low-speed GMLAN CAN bus devices. EMC and EMI testing are not described in this document, except crank pulse and ESD. For IVLAN Mid- and High-speed CAN bus device tests please refer to the IVLAN Test Specification.

ECUs for Global Epsilon and Global Delta shall be validated according to the GMW14241. For each test subject includes a defined scope, test method, test condition and acceptance criteria.

The measured results shall be noted in the separate available "GME6718 GMLAN Test Specification Test Result Template", all plots included. Parameters are given as nominal values unless otherwise noted. All tests and test methods shall be executed, if not otherwise stated.
