Scope and Applicability.
This instruction applies to surface ship antisubmarine warfare (ASW) stakeholders, including type commanders, warfare development centers, systems commands, Navy component commanders, and numbered fleets
Purpose.
To manage the Ship Antisubmarine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (SHAREM) Program. Significant changes in this revision include updates to required SHAREM products and designation of the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (NSMWDC) as SHAREM program executive agent.
