scope:

This standard specifies the performance criteria and test procedures for the performance testing of automated measuring systems for point-related measurements for gaseous air pollutants. Additionally, testing of equivalence for measuring systems, whose measurement method differs from the reference method, is described in this standard.

Note 1: Performance criteria are also called minimum requirements.

Note 2: Testing of equivalence acts as evidence of equivalence to the reference method.

This standard supplements and details the requirements of standards DIN EN 15267-1 and DIN EN 15267-2 relating to the first quality assurance level (QAL1) in terms of performance testing, declaration of suitability, and certification of automated measuring systems, and the checking of the manufacturer's quality management system with regard to the points arising from national regulations and specifications supplementary to the requirements of the standards.

This standard applies to the performance testing of single and multiple-component measuring systems, which are, for example, intended for measurement tasks specified in national and European regulations.

For measuring systems with measuring principles according to DIN EN 14211, DIN EN 14212, DIN EN 14625, DIN EN 14626 and DIN EN 14662-3, the requirements specified in this standard are identical to the European requirements.
