Purpose of This Order.
This order prescribes interim guidance to supplement the guidance contained in FAA Order JO 7110.65, Air Traffic Control, in support of the initial use of CPDLC in Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC) using ERAMfor domestic operational air traffic control services. The guidance contained in this order applies to those facilities that have been approved to use CPDLC with ERAM for domestic operational air traffic control services.
