Introduction

This Track Work Instruction covers how to prepare for the introduction of new rolling stock on a route.

Normally, specialists (such as gauging engineers) carry out this type of clearance, but this TWI gives guidance on the physical works that may need to be carried out along with some maintenance considerations.
