Covers coaxial cables for use in analogue and digital systems. This standard should be used in conjunction with EN 50290-1-1. Coaxial cables covered by this standard in transverse electromagnetic (TEM) and are suitable for use in a wide range of digital and analogue applications including CATV, radio frequency systems, instrumentation, broadcasting, telecommunications and data network systems.
