Nuclear reactors - In-core temperature or primary envelope temperature measurements - Characterstics and test methods

inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 May 1984
Status: inactive
Page Count: 32
ICS Code (Temperature-measuring instruments): 17.200.20
ICS Code (Reactor engineering): 27.120.10
scope:

This standard is applicable to general aspects of design, characteristics, manufacturing and test methods for in-core temperature measurement instrumentation in nuclear power reactors. Emphasis is placed on the features peculiar to the nuclear application and recommendatins concerning components and sensors are made only when they relate to the containment of such components within the reactor primary envelope and/or in high radiation fields. Statements of general applicability are made but detailed consideration is restricted to thermocouples and resistance thermometers.
