This part of ISO 2812 specifies spotting methods for determini ng the resistance of an individual layer or multilayer system of coating materials to the effects of liquids or paste-like p roducts. These methods enable the testers to determine the eff ects of the test substance on the coating and, if necessary, t o assess the damage to the substrate.
